Trust me I've got plenty of Harmony remotes, Just bought the 880 in fact at Costco for $70.

I also have the 680, 670, 550, and 720 harmony remotes. I should own stock in them. ;)

The issue is my wife doesn't grasp the concept, or the "will" I should say to hold the remote until it is done running through the activities. She would rather click the one button and set the remote down instead of having to hold and point it until it is done.

I am using two Linksys DMA-2100 extenders as well as a 360 as an extender.

I am also playing around with an Asus atom Ion based nettop pc as well.

I am holding out on cable card tuners until the prices drop or until Ceaton releases their 4 tuner cable card tuner.

Hey man, Josh Grundmeier just sent me a link over to this post knowing my passion for HTPCs. I'm also running a Win7 machine and it's just fantastic. I definitely don't have the amount of tuners you've got going but I do have 2 QAM and 1 ATI Digital Cable Card tuner going. (Man was I happy when I learned win7 was going to support different tuner types with out the need for the "TV pack" like in Vista. That had ticked my off for a long time)

I used to have an older XP machine running MCE2005 with two SD tuners in my office which was running to an old linksys MCE Extender. But I've decided to finally buy a 32" LCD for the bedroom and SD just isn't going to cut it. So I purchased a second xbox 360 to use as an extender in there. I was wondering though, what extenders are you running that support Win7MC?

Also, you probably already know this, but I thought I'd offer it up anyway. I know how you save the problems between your wife and the HTPC. Logitech Harmony Remote. I've been using them for a while now and it makes it so ANYONE can use the whole setup. I'll have people over at the house then they will look at my setup and say, "Crap, how do I turn on your tv?" And I just say, "Point the remote at the TV, Hit "Watch TV" and wait." Even my ex-girlfriend was using everything freely while she lived with me. I'm telling you man, Harmony Remotes will kill that frustration for your wife.

Anyways, just thought I'd chime in. It's good to see someone else in MN loves MC like I do up here in St. Cloud. Have a good one!
