I am a regular visitor of www.johndee.com, John has put together probably one of the best resources for Minnesota, Wisconsin, upper Michigan for finding out the latest weather reports, snow falls, weather predictions, ect…

One of my favorite parts about the website though is the Northwoods Camera Network, This is a map of the Midwest with clickable links of webcams, live or still, through out Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the “yooper”.

The webcam network is a great way to easily see whats going on in terms of snow fall, snow fall levels, ect… Every time I visit the site I just itch for it to snow so I can get out the new snowmobile I bought this fall. Ever since I bought the sled I am just itching to go riding. But for now I have to sit and wait for the weather to come.

Till it snows, I guess I’ll just have to settle with heading out to Wild Mountain on Saturday for the Ski Demo they have going on, and ski the “fake stuff”, but either way it’ll be good just to get out and enjoy the snow again.

On my way home today I noticed it was snowing. Well more flurries than anything else but hey its SNOW! I just recently bought a new snowmobile (used but new to me). I’ve been wanting to buy a snowmobile for years now, and I just happened to have enough extra income to afford the snowmobile.

I picked up a slightly used 2002 Polaris XC SP 600 with 1900 miles on it. For what I paid for it, the guy I bought the sled from was asking around $900 – $1200 less than comparable sleds that had more miles. I just couldn’t pass that deal up. So ever since I bought the snowmobile I’ve been itching for it to snow so I can go riding. The sight of snow today on the way home from work, put a nice little smile on my face, now if only it would accumulate enough so that I can go out for a ride.

Also I can’t wait for ski season to start again. It’s been almost a year since the last time I’ve been out skiing. I only went out riding twice last year. First time was Spirit Mountain’s opener weekend and went riding with Richard and company. Second time was when I went out west to Utah again with Richard and company. So between snowmobiling and skiing I am ready for winter to get here.

So for now as the title says “Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow”
